| David Mallamud has received awards from a number of institutions including ASCAP and The American Academy of Arts and Letters. His music has been performed by The New World Symphony, The Albany Symphony and the Westchester Philharmonic, among others, in venues ranging from the Jerry Orbach Theater to Carnegie Hall. He holds degrees from Eastman, Juilliard and Tisch (Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program) and is published by Les Productions D’Oz. His music was recently heard in Bill Nelson’s All-Male Revue, directed by Bill Finn (Barrington Stages) and at EMPAC, where his Klezmer Ballet was performed by clarinetist David Krakauer and The Dogs of Desire. His ballet, Elegy, was performed by the Metropolitan Ballet of Minneapolis/St. Paul, accompanied by the Kenwood Symphony. He is currectly working on projects with Trav S.D., Tom Diggs, Jonathan Matthew Gilbert and several projects with Jared Eberlein. |
